Multiple choice
Ask a question where the visitor picks several answers, with optional minimum and maximum limits.
Use Multiple choice when more than one answer can apply, such as interests or features. It works like Single choice, with check boxes and pick limits.
Add it
- Drag Multiple choice from Questions onto the phone.
- Or hover a layer in Layers, click +, then Questions, then Multiple choice.
You get field ID choices, Must answer to continue on, and three answers with square check boxes.
Where it can go
Same as Single choice: stacks, header, footer, tab content, carousel pages, not inside tappable layers.
Design panel
It has every control of Single choice (Field ID, Must answer to continue, Answers, Add answer, stack controls, and the answer panel without When picked), plus:
| Control | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Limit how many they pick | Turns on the limits below. | Off; starts at 1 and 2 |
| At least | Minimum picks. | 1 |
| At most | Maximum picks. Other answers dim once reached. |
Keep At least at most At most, and At most no higher than the number of answers. The panel warns in red, and publishing is blocked otherwise. Without Must answer to continue, limits apply once the visitor picks anything.
Your site receives a list of answer IDs.
States
Selected, required. Selected answers show a checked box.
Dark mode and screen sizes
Same as Single choice.
Tips and common mistakes
- Removing answers can push At most above the count. Recheck the limits.
- Use short answer labels so they fit narrow phones.
In the JSON
The component type is input_multiple_choice, with field_id, required, selection_range (min, max) and input_option answers.
