Keyboard shortcuts
Every keyboard shortcut in the dashboard and the editor.
On a Mac use Cmd where this page says Ctrl, and Option where it says Alt.
Dashboard
| Keys | What it does |

| Ctrl+K | Open or close the command palette |
| Up and Down arrows | Move through palette results |
| Enter | Run the highlighted command |
| Esc | Close the palette |
Editor
Shortcuts do not run while you type in a field or while a dialog or menu is open.
| Keys | What it does |

| Ctrl+S | Save draft |
| Ctrl+Z | Undo |
| Shift+Ctrl+Z, or Ctrl+Y | Redo |
| Shift+click | Select several layers |
| Delete or Backspace | Delete the selected layers |
| Ctrl+D | Duplicate the selected layers |
| Ctrl+C | Copy the layer |
| Ctrl+V | Paste into a selected stack, otherwise after the selection |
| Alt+Ctrl+C | Copy style |
| Alt+Ctrl+V | Paste style onto selected layers of the same kind |
| 1, 2, 3, 4 | Open Layers, Components, Variables, Translations |
| Backslash | Hide or show the left panel |
| Esc | Select the parent layer |
| Alt (hold, hover) | Show distances between layers |
| Space and drag | Move around the canvas |
| Ctrl and scroll | Zoom the canvas |
When you view the published version, Components and Translations do not open, and edits are disabled.
Layers panel
| Keys | What it does |

| Up and Down arrows | Move through layers |
| Right arrow | Expand a layer, or go to its first child |
| Left arrow | Collapse a layer, or go to its parent |
| Enter | Rename the layer (when it can be renamed) |
| Esc in Find a layer | Clear the search |
