Troubleshooting
Fixes for screens that do not show, publish errors, sign-in and invitation problems, and plan messages.
My site shows nothing

| Install status says Waiting for your site. | Open the page that runs the snippet, then select Check again on Install SDK. |
| Screen is not published | The card says Draft. Open the editor and publish. |
| Placement has no screen | Shows nothing in Placements. Choose a screen. |
Error Placement not found | The key in your code differs from the placement key. |
Error Published paywall not found | The placement's screen is not published. |
Error Missing or invalid public key | The key is wrong or was revoked. Copy the current one from API keys. |
Error ... is not in this project's allowed websites | Add the site, with its port for local work, in Allowed websites. |
Result is skipped | A frequency cap, an audience set to show nothing, or a holdout applied. |
| Old version still shows | Wait about a minute after publishing, then reload. |
Publishing fails
Publishing runs the editor's checks again on the server and answers Cannot publish: followed by the problems. The editor button shows N Issues; select it, then Select layer. See Validation. A Go to screen button must point to another existing screen. A screen with a conflict says This screen was changed somewhere else: choose Keep my version or Load the latest version.
On Free, after the grace period with views used up, publishing is refused. See Plans and billing.
Plan messages
| Message | Meaning |

| Upgrade to Indie to use A/B tests (or another plan and feature) | Your plan lacks the feature. |
| This month's views ran out and the 7 days of grace are over... | Paid features are paused until next month or a bigger plan. |
Sign-in and email
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Email or password is incorrect. | Check both, or use Forgot password? |
| Confirm your email first. | Select Resend email. It is limited to once a minute. |
| This link has expired | Reset links work once. Select Send a new link. |
Invitations
| Message | Fix |
|---|---|
| This invite is for another email | Sign out and sign in with the invited address. |
| This invite has expired | Ask an admin or the owner to send a new one. |
| Email never arrived | Check spam. If the admin saw Invite saved, but the email did not go out, they can send you the invite link. |
| No seat left | Free a seat by removing a member or revoking an invite. |
Permissions
You don't have permission means your role is too low for the action. See Members and roles.
Images
Only PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or GIF images are supported. and Image must be 5 MB or smaller. See Limits.
