Banner promotion
Pin a sale bar to the top of your pages without blocking them, and limit how often it shows.
In Screens select New screen and choose a bar template such as Promo Bar or Flash Sale Bar. Edit the text. The button uses Run your code (view_offer in Promo Bar). Publish it.
In Placements add promo_bar and set Shows to the screen.
Configure, tab Screen & display: Format Banner, Position Top. Show it: When the page loads. Pages: All pages, or list some. Leave Limit to once per session checked, or set a limit in Audience. Save.
On your site, once on every page:

});For a timed sale add a schedule on the Schedule tab (Indie plan and above) so a different banner screen runs only during the sale.
The banner leaves the page usable. Give the screen a close button with the action Close the screen. See Display modes.
